Thanks to the new USB 3.1 technology, the housing achieves an even higher data transfer speed. USB 3.1 is backward compatible using the appropriate cables. High speed data transfer up to 10 Gb/s is supported by the included USB 3.1 Type-C cable and requires only a suitable computer, tablet or similar device.

Thanks to the excellent heat dissipation of aluminum, HDD/SSD cooling is at a high level. The housing does not need a fan and is always quiet like a whisper.
Height is key
The enclosure may contain hard disks and SSDs up to 9.5 mm high. The housing is especially recommended for SSDs, because they can work faster than conventional hard drives. The LED informs about operation and access to the hard disk.
