Directional DVB-T antenna for terrestrial TV reception enabling MUX 8 reception
The MCTV-855A professional directional antenna is equipped with an LTE filter that eliminates interference from cellular networks that provide high-speed internet services in the 800 MHz band.
In recent years, several thousand stations supporting the LTE standard in the 800 MHz band have already been created in Poland. The end of the TV band is in the immediate vicinity of the 800 MHz LTE band. This may result in interference with reception of digital terrestrial television. The picture may freeze on the TV screen, colored stripes and squares may appear.
The MCTV-855A antenna, thanks to the LTE filter, cuts out unwanted signals above 790 MHz, and thus is resistant to the above described interference from the LTE network.
The antenna is equipped with an additional dipole that allows the reception of VHF channels, thanks to which it is possible to receive the 170-230MHz band, which will allow the reception of MUX 8, on which new programs and digital DAB + radio are broadcast.
